Quote From A Young Lady
01/24/2010
We like to hear encouraging words from those who attend our concerts, and we don't always pass those comments on to others. But i want to pass this one on.This is a comment from someone who has attended the last two years Christmas Shows."I can't wait to hear you all minister again. You don't have to strike a chord on the instruments or sing a note.Just to see your whole family united as one, ministers to me and brings me joy and a blessing.

A message from Korrina
09/01/2009
Hi Everyone! It's Korrina. It's the first day of September and it has seemed like the summer has flown by! We have had so much fun, excitement, and many blessings. Fall is so close I can smell it! I remember Pawpaw always getting excited about the fall. And he always tells me how you can see and feel God in the change of the seasons. I never had really noticed until a few years ago, but you can! I see God in the leaves on the trees changing colors, the pumpkins being picked, and the jackets being put on because of the cooler temperatures. I can hear him also. In the crunch of the leaves under your feet as you walk through the yard, in the lonesome sound of the train whistle and it rolls through town, and the honking of the geese flying overhead to the warm South. It is all so enjoyable and beautiful. And I like to take time when I notice these things, to thank the good Lord for creating such a wonderful site! Thank you for reading my note and I encourage you to take the time to notice what God has created for your enjoyment!! I hope you will. God Bless You, your Sister in Christ. Korrina

Blessing
01/19/2009
Hello Everyone, It's Korrina. I just wanted to say HAPPY NEW YEAR! And I wanted to say a few words. As you know it's a new year, but it's also a time for new blessings. In my church we have been talking about what to do in the new year. Some of these things include forgiving those who have wronged you in the past year, forgetting the bad things that happened in the past year, but, to remember the thing that God blessed you with in the past year. Our family had some trials in the past year but we also had many blessings. And some blessings we didn't realize that we had until we looked back at the past year. I encourage you to look back and remember the wonderful things that God has blessed you with and look forward to the many blessings that God has in store for you. I think that you'll be suprised at how many blessings that you had last year that you didn't even realize. Thank God for our many past blessings and the ones to come. God Bless!! Your Sister in Christ, Korrina

Festival in Eureka, MO
01/10/2009
We were honoured to be asked to play the winter Fest in Eureka,Mo last week-end. It was the first for the children. We ended the afternoon show with the instrumental"Delivered" with Jake featured on mandolin, and Cal on flat top.As we ended, the crowd began clapping and yelling MORE! MORE!MORE! So we played "Jerusalem" and recieved the same response. All of the guys jammed in our room until about 12:30 AM.I think they may have scratched that "pickin' itch.

We thought you all would like to hear some of the feedback from the Christmas Show.I'll try to make these short and to the point."You're Show was just too short.I could have listened to another hour of this" "We've been to a lot of shows including some at the Fox,and this show is just as good" "We went to some other Christmas programs in the area, but we could tell you all had put more prayer and work into your show.It was both fun and inspiring, and focused on the birth of the Christ" "Those young folks are getting better every year.We can't wait for the next show.God sure uses your family to minister to both young and old." "My favorite part was "Ray Charles" "Surely God's annointing is on your family. You can feel it in your instrumentation as well as vocal"

A message from Korrina
09/15/2008
Hey Everyone! It's Korrina. There haven't been any updates in a while so I thought I would clue you in on some of what this crazy family had been up to. Well, the boys are working on Royal Ranger projects and are getting ready for an up-coming camp-out that they have worked so hard to achieve. I have been doing my thing, hanging out with my friends and doing schoolwork. Of coarse the adults are at work through the week but on the weekends we are hard at work on the Christmas show, and yes I said Christmas show. We've been working hard already and we're hoping that this year will be better than ever and that it will bless many people. We're gonna have a blast and I hope you will join in on the fun of celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. God bless and I hope to see you soon! Your Sister in Christ, Korrina

Congratulations!
05/01/2008
Congratulations to Jake, Luke and Jared for working so hard to earn their FCF merits in their Royal Rangers group. Last night, they were awarded several merit badges each for jobs well done. But more importantly than the badges, were the words of honor spoken by their Commanders for their good behavior and Christ-like attitudes. We're all so proud of you!

Testimony from Jared
03/06/2008
When I was about 10, I was watching the CBS news with Mom & Dad when they did a salute to Fallen Heroes. I started feeling like I needed to pray for soldiers. One of MeeMaws clients,(Mary) gave her the name of her grandson and asked if I would pray for him. I started praying for Joshua and started getting pictures of him through Mary. I hung his picture on my wall and prayed for him every night. One day, Mary got a letter from Joshua that said a bomb had been launched into his camp, but didn't go off and that he'd seen soldiers right next to him get hurt or killed, but he was never hurt. God answered my prayers and I will keep praying for Joshua until he comes home. I will pray for soldiers every night at 9:00. You can send me the names of any soldier you'd like me to pray for and I'll add them to my list. If you'd like, you can pray with me ea. night at 9:00, or pray on your way to & from work/school each day. Please let me know if you'll join me. Thank You. My e-mail address is jarkgam@yahoo.com

Awake!
01/15/2008
1 Peter 5:8- "Be sober, be vigilant (alert, watchful); because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about seeking whom he may devour."
While many are asleep or in a dazed state of mind in the government, as well as in our churches, let us awake to righteousness and sin not. Read 1 Corinthians 15:35, Joel 2:1 and Proverbs 6:10-11.
While we the church have slept, the enemy has sown tares/thorns among us choking out the Word of God.
Come, Church! Let's take a stand and proclaim the Word of God and the commandments of Jesus Christ!

Hey, it's been a while since I've put anything on here so I thought that you'd like to know how are family is doing. We are all doing great and as you know we usually take a short break at the begining of the year but I'll tell ya, that doesn't mean we're not busy. The Boys are doing their thing in Royal Rangers working on their merit badges and I'm going on outings with my youth group and hangin' out with My friends. The Adults are all thinking of and working on a song list for the new year. We are all very excited about the singings coming up and I can't wait to get started! I hope to see you at some of our singings and may God be with you.
