With years of musical experience under his belt, Barry has held this group together for twenty six years. Barry is originally from the small town of Graniteville. His past experience in working television and radio has helped him to be able to work an audience with laughter, tears, and joy. His visual handicap is hardly noticed as he works as the groups leader and spokesman. While Barry has the talent to play any one of the intruments, (banjo, mandolin, dobro) Barry's solid rythym lays the foundation for the many styles and sounds the group has to offer.

Not many groups can lay claim to a female tenor that has a bluegrass sound but The Barry Jones Family can. Linda grew up in the small town of Annapolis,Mo. Linda's strong vocal gives the Barry Jones Family a distinct sound and drive. Barry and Linda have been married for over 35 years. Not only has Linda been instrumental in helping Barry form the group, she has also been the groups booking agent and tends to the groups business affairs.

You've all heard the old saying, "like father, like son"! Calvin is the oldest and only son of Barry and Linda, and like his Father, he plays just about any instrument. His instruments of focus are the mandolin and guitar. He's been playing music ever since he was six years old with his Dad in church. In his high school years he played in the high school jazz band. Calvin's favorite instrument though is the mandolin and it obviously shows. Some have now referred to him as "Mr. Mandolin". Calvin lends his vocal abilities to help with whatever part is needed. His versatile musical talents gives The Barry Jones Family a wide variety of styles and flavor in their performances.

Kim has been a member of The Barry Jones Family for 6 years. Kim is originally from Annapolis, MO. She and Calvin have been married for 4 years and have 3 boys, Christopher, DJ, and Gerald. Kim has been a banjo student of Barry's since 1986 and plays the banjo for the group with drive and attitude. Kim has played with other groups in the past but has found her place within The Barry Jones Family. Her role within the group on the banjo and on vocals is yet another strength and asset to the family group.

Sondra is the oldest daughter of Barry and Linda's. She acts as the groups secretary and also is multi-talented. Her soft, high voice is a blessing when she sings. She is well accomplished on the banjo and piano. She has also helped to write numerous songs for the group. Sondra's contributions to the family group are invaluable.

Anita is the youngest daughter of Barry and Linda's. Her soft heart and gentle spirit are a blessing to all who hear her. Anita sings and plays the rythym-tech shaker, filling the void wherever it's needed. Anita has written numerous songs for the group and takes responsibility for the groups quarterly news letter. Anita and her husband Robert have two children. Robert's testimony as well as his help driving the van, and setting up the group sound is essential.

Ken has been playing the bass with The Barry Jones Family for 5 years now.He and his wife Donna live in Fredericktown,MO. Ken provides the bass vocal to help the group blend four part harmonies. Ken is also a multi-talented individual, playing rythym guitar or singing different parts when needed. Ken's solid bass playing and warm personality add to the foundation of the Barry Jones Family music.
